Original Ubiquiti MiniGBIC modules for single-mode fibers are an ideal solution for terminating or creating an optical path. UF-SM-10G allows communication at speeds up to 10 Gbit/s. Ideal for long optical paths up to 10 km. The modules have two inputs for LC/UPC connectors. The wavelength for transmitting (Tx) and receiving (Rx) signals is 1310 nm.

The biggest advantage of communication over optical cable is resistance to electromagnetic interference and high-quality high-speed data transmission over long distances .

It can be used for any modern indoor and outdoor network.

Ubiquiti optical modules comply with the SFP MSA (Multi-Source Agreement) standard .
