MultiPlus is a powerful DC-AC hybrid inverter/charger with pure sine wave output, integrated adaptive battery charger and ultra-fast power source transfer switch (battery/external AC source).
The MultiPlus is a combination of an inverter and charger in one elegant package. Its range of features includes a pure sine wave inverter, adaptive charging, PowerAssist hybrid technology and other features for integration into various types of systems.
One AC input
The MultiPlus is equipped with one AC input for connection to the distribution network or, for example, a generator. If two AC inputs are required, then we choose the Quattro unit.
Two AC outputs
The MultiPlus is equipped with two AC outputs. The main AC1 output ensures uninterrupted power supply. For example, in UPS mode, the MultiPlus will take over power supply to connected appliances (in less than 20 milliseconds) in the event of a power outage or generator failure.
The second output is only functional when AC input (mains/generator) is available. A load that would quickly drain the batteries, such as a water heater, can therefore be connected to this output and will be powered only by the AC source (second output available on models with a power of 3 kVA and above).
Four-stage charging with adaptive charger and two battery charging outputs
The main output provides powerful battery charging via an "adaptive charging" system. The software controls the three-stage automatic charging process to suit the battery condition and adds a fourth charging stage - trickle charging. In addition, the MultiPlus can charge a second battery using an independent charging output designed for, for example, generator starter batteries. The Multiplus is designed to charge all types of lead, alkaline and lithium batteries (including LiFePO4).
Virtually unlimited performance thanks to parallel operation
Up to 6 MultiPlus units can operate in parallel to achieve higher power. For example, 6x 24/5000/120 inverters provide 25 kW (30 kVA) of power and 720 A of charging capacity.
Three-phase operation
Three units of the same type can be configured for three-phase operation. Up to 3 sets of three units can be connected in parallel to obtain a power output of up to 56 kW (68 kVA) and a charging capacity of 1500 A.
Unique PowerAssist features
MultiPlus prevents overloading of a power-limited AC source, e.g. a current-limited electrical connection. If the input AC source is overloaded, the charging current to the battery will first be automatically reduced. Second, the output AC current is boosted by the current drawn from the battery.
Solar energy
You can have AC power available even in the event of a power outage. MuliPlus can be used in both Off-Grid (island) systems and in photovoltaic systems connected to the distribution grid. MultiPlus is not equipped with an input for the PV array, but is designed to work with MPPT controllers (DC coupling systems) or grid inverters (AC coupling systems).
System configuration
- In the case of a separate UPS installation, the settings can be easily made in a few minutes using DIP switches.
- Parallel and three-phase applications can be configured using VE.Bus Quick Configure and VE.Bus System Configurator software.
- Off-Grid and hybrid PV installations for self-consumption, whichThey include grid-connected inverters or MPPT solar chargers, and can be configured using the Assistant (specialized software for specific applications).
