Tinycontrol LAN driver v3.9

LAN controller with relay is a simple, versatile and affordable device for controlling outputs based on information from various sensors. It serves as a web server that displays various types of sensors and allows remote control of outputs.

In addition, it is possible to program events and corresponding actions to meet conditions on any of the sensors. A scheduler that allows the device to be turned on/off at a certain time or for a certain period of time can be suitable for many applications. There are 4 PWM outputs for controlling lighting or an electric motor.



LK3.9 is a continuation of the v3.5 series. It has the same API and is recommended for typical monitoring and automation applications in IT environments. This version is equipped with a faster ARM 32F407 processor. It offers the same features, but uses a different firmware series than v3.5.

The device is equipped with a built-in web server (similar to all LK versions) for viewing measured values and configuring settings via a web browser.



Communication interface:

You can use a wired Ethernet connection or a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (802.11n) wireless connection. The LAN controller can be fully configured from a web page available on the built-in web server. It is also possible to send arbitrary commands to the device via HTTP (bypassing the web page) or MQTT (after configuring the connection).



Basic features:



  • 2 analog inputs with switchable gain – Measurement of voltage from 1 mV to 33 V, direct current, alternating current (additional sensors), thermocouples, distance sensors, photoresistors for lighting measurement and many more.
  • 2 analog inputs with switchable gain – Measurement of voltage from 1 mV to 55 V, direct current, alternating current (additional sensors), pressure sensors, thermocouples, distance sensors, photoresistors for light measurement and more.
  • 2 analog inputs up to 3.3 V – for voltage and current measurement (DC and AC using additional sensors) and 4–20 mA converters
  • I2C bus for sensor connection via RJ-12 connector: supports a wide range of I2C and DS18B20 sensors via 1-Wire bus.
  • 4 logic inputs – as status sensors for door monitoring, infrared motion sensors, manual switching buttons with bistable mode option, pulse counters for energy meters and timers for resetting inputs.
  • 1 relay (NC, NO, C)
  • 1 transistor output, provides supply voltage at the output, to control devices with current consumption up to 0.5 A
  • 4 transistor (OC) outputs for switching relays
  • 4 PWM outputs (50 Hz to 100 kHz)
  • UART interface for communication with external devices via serial port
  • RS485 - MODBUS RTU converter bus (additional board required): allows reading pre-configured devices and setting the configuration to read any device using the Modbus protocol.
  • Measuring temperature and supply voltage on the board
  • Ethernet communication (10/100Mb) with PoE 802.3af support.
  • Management via web interface.
  • Wireless control of devices with Tasmota firmware

  • Automatic machinesAutomatic heating control when the temperature drops or rises beyond the set limit.
  • Automated control of lights or devices based on a schedule or remote commands.
  • Solar power plant monitoring/control – Monitoring the performance of solar panels, wind turbines, basic battery charging control, measuring DC power consumption, measuring AC power consumption and inverter generation.
  • Agriculture – Cyclic regulation of feeders and other equipment in animal husbandry, irrigation systems.
  • Monitoring battery voltage, power supplies and mains power outages.
  • ISP watchdog to monitor Ethernet connections and reset devices.
  • Sending input states and environment parameters overlaid on the image of an IP camera (e.g. Dahua).
  • Monitoring the operation of heat pumps with data presentation on internet graphs.
  • Monitoring of supply voltage and automatic switching to backup sources.
  • Remote monitoring of energy consumption via Modbus meters or pulse inputs.
  • Network (wired or wireless) transmission of commands between multiple LK devices.
