Intelligent switches for industrial Ethernet are designed for harsh operating conditions with wide operating temperature ranges, unstable power supply, and frequent shocks. They also provide excellent multi-connectivity capabilities to achieve robust system connectivity with very low recovery times.
IGS-10080MFT is suitable for building FTTH networks or can be applied for connecting end devices in technically and operationally demanding conditions via optical path. Furthermore, it is equipped for redundancy, in addition to the well-known Spanning Tree method (whose recovery time is in the order of seconds), primarily with a specialized "Redundant ring" function which has a recovery time and finding a new path of up to 300ms.
The IGS series switches are easily installed on a standard DIN rail or directly on the wall, enabling the deployment of well-known Ethernet technology in industrial environments. They are also suitable for installations in outdoor cabinets with large fluctuations in operating temperatures (typically wireless and MAN ISP applications).
