Conversion Gigabit miniGBIC module in Small-Form-Pluggable (SFP) format. Standard 1000Base-LX, IEEE82.3z. Simplex SC connector, for single-mode fibers. Enables bidirectional communication over a single optical fiber.
They are equipped with Digital Diagnostic & Monitoring. In switches and converters equipped with DDM support, they are able to diagnose the amplitude of the optical signal.
Expands/converts ports of switches and converters with a miniGBIC (SFP) slot.
For connection between WDM modules, it is necessary to combine the TX/RX wavelengths of the counterpart sides, pairs of modules are distinguished by a code representing side A or B.
