Description

Victron Phoenix VE.Direct 500 VA 48 V

Sine wave fully programmable inverter 48 V (500 VA) with ECO mode and VE.Direct interface.

The inverter incorporates a robust toroidal transformer, which has proven its reliability in Victron Energy inverters for many years. These inverters are short-circuit proof and protected against overheating , whether due to overload or high ambient temperature.

Fully configurable - this is a completely unique feature where you can set the following parameters using a PC:



  • Low and high battery voltage alarm and reset level
  • Inverter shutdown level at low and high battery voltage and reset level
  • Output voltage 220/230/240 V
  • Frequency 50 Hz or 60 Hz
  • ECO mode on/off sensitivity setting (setting the level when the inverter “falls asleep” and when it “wakes up” again)
  • Remote on/off, LED diagnostics


Monitoring:



  • Input/output voltage and current
  • Load level, alarms and temperature


High starting power

Required to start loads such as power converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps or power tools.



ECO mode

In ECO mode - when the load power drops below the preset value, the inverter switches to standby mode (it goes to sleep and the inverter's own consumption is then only about 1 W). In standby mode with very low own consumption, the inverter will then be switched on regularly for a short time (adjustable parameter, standard every 2.5 s). If the load power exceeds the preset value, the inverter switches on again. Thanks to this function, you save a large amount of energy that the inverter would otherwise consume for its operation.
