The AirFiber AF-5XHD is a revolutionary outdoor backbone unit with 1 Gbps+ throughput operating in the 5 GHz band. Ubiquiti's new proprietary LTU chipset can process over 2 million packets per second.

The AirFiber AF-5XHD, which works with modulation up to 4096QAM (from firmware version v1.1.2), achieves a throughput of 1.34 Gbps , and also has implemented xRT (xtreme Range Technology) technology for connections up to 100 km away.*
The advantage is a dedicated spectrum analyzer and the ability to select channel widths of 10/20/30/40/50/60/80/100 MHz, set asymmetric downlink/uplink operation , GPS synchronization or different frequencies for RX and TX.
AirFiber AF-5XHD has 2× RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports . The first is used for data, the second port is intended for Management or as a backup for PoE power supply.
Original Ubiquiti antennas for the AF-5XHD, with a 45° polarization angle to improve interference resistance, can be ordered in 23dBi parabola and 30dBi parabola variants.
AirFiber has visual status indicators to help you pinpoint your connection. LEDs display RJ-45 port status, data transfer, GPS synchronization, and signal strength.
The package includes everything needed for pole mounting and an IP67 insert for even better protection against water, dust and insects. We recommend purchasing the ETH-SP-G2 surge protector with the unit.
*Throughput and maximum achievable link distance also depend on environmental conditions and local country regulations.
The package includes a 24 V/1 A PoE injector .
