Ubiquiti Rocket Prism 5AC Gen2
Rocket (RP-5AC-Gen2) is a powerful second-generation outdoor unit for the 5 GHz band designed as an access point for client devices or for backbone PtP connections. The unit supports throughput up to 500 Mbps.
The Rocket 5AC-Prism outputs 2 RSMA connectors, which are used to connect an omnidirectional, sector or 2x2 MIMO parabolic antenna . The third RSMA connector is designed to connect a GPS module for GPS synchronization . The special cast aluminum construction improves the unit's electromagnetic shielding .
Thanks to Ubiquiti's patented airPrism® technology, Rocket 5AC achieves maximum throughput even in noisy areas. Revolutionary signal filtering and isolation of unwanted channels leads to increased connection capacity . The advantage is high transmission speed thanks to the 802.11ac standard and modulation up to 256QAM.
Rocket Prism 5AC-Gen2 has improved surge protection that protects the device against electrostatic discharge.
Rocket Prism 5AC-Gen2 is the second generation of airMAX AC devices that have a dedicated radio for wireless access to the unit and the ability to set up in the UNMS application for mobile devices . The UNMS application ( Android , iOS ) also helps with the alignment of the connection and significantly speeds up its installation.
The AirOS system is intuitive and displays both the constellation diagram and the SNR curve in real time .
Rocket Prism 5AC-Gen2 supports:
