The UniFi Cloud Gateway Max is equipped with one WAN port (2.5 GbE RJ-45) and four LAN (2.5 GbE RJ-45) ports, providing the high-speed connectivity needed to support most bandwidth-intensive applications. It also stands out as a compact network security solution that offers a complete set of threat mitigation features , including intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), content filtering, and VLAN-based traffic segmentation. To manage and utilize all configuration options, UniFi UXG routers must be adapted to the UniFi Cloud Key Gen2/Gen2 Plus console, UniFi Cloud Key Enterprise , or UniFi Network Server software, which can be downloaded from the official Ubiquiti download website.
