Managed SFP optical switch designed for applications in large-scale networks, telecommunications and for ISP or IPTV television service providers. Its physical and durable design makes it suitable for direct installation in route or end distribution cabinets. The device is operable in the temperature range of -10 to +60 °C, can be powered redundantly, has a digital I/O interface and all ports are accessible from the front panel.
The switch can be managed via IPv4 and IPv6 protocols, SNMPv3 and securely on an encrypted SSL/SSH layer. The functions include features suitable for integration in data centers or for connection and secure operation of end users, it is possible to control traffic based on QoS, filter and authorize access via ACL (Access Control List), and physically activate ports based on authentication on a RADIUS server using the IEEE 802.1x protocol.
