High-performance Wi-Fi 6 router with triple-chain 5 GHz radio for gigabit speeds.


The new hAP ax S is MikroTik's most efficient Wi-Fi 6 access point with an exceptional price-performance ratio. Thanks to its triple-chain 5 GHz radio, it achieves real-world speeds of 800-900 Mbit/s , ensuring smooth streaming, fast downloads, and stable performance even when connecting multiple devices simultaneously.


Under the elegant aluminum cover is a dual-core ARM processor EN7562CT with a frequency of 950 MHz, 512 MB DDR3 RAM and 128 MB NAND storage . The router offers five Gigabit Ethernet ports and a 2.5G SFP port for direct connection to optical Internet or high-speed NAS storage.

RouterOS v7 – full control without limitations
Unlike conventional routers, hAP ax S offers the full version of RouterOS v7 without subscriptions or locked features. It supports advanced network features such as VLAN, firewall, VPN tunnels, traffic shaping or automation via SMS. Easily isolate IoT devices into separate subnets for increased security.


Flexible power and connectivity
The router supports power supply via DC jack (12–28 V) or PoE-in (18–28 V) with the option to power another MikroTik device via passive PoE-out on the Ether5 port. A USB type A port allows connection of external storage or a 4G modem.


Optimal for VR gaming
With a triple-chain 5 GHz radio, the hAP ax S is ideal as a dedicated Wi-Fi 6 access point for PC VR headsets, offering higher resolution and lower latency without cables while maintaining the full flexibility of RouterOS v7.
