Industrial Ethernet LTE gateway for possible application within IoT (Internet of Things), M2M (machine to machine) networks, but also for regular internet connection in mobile devices or dislocated installations (PV power plants). The gateway can become a robust element of your customer data network infrastructure.
The basic communication interface is two LTE interfaces with backward support for previous generation networks (2G+3G), which you can use in places with poor signal coverage, when moving or roaming.
The gateway includes a router with a firewall, VPN IPsec or OpenVPN can be used for connection, Web or SNMP management can be secured with SSH protocols. Access control and traffic can be filtered at the MAC/IP/URL address level.
In addition to the gateway function, this device is also equipped with a wired router function via RJ-45 connectors. Thanks to this, the device is also ready for use with a classic wired connection if this installation is necessary.
Planet industrial elements are easily installed on a standard DIN rail or directly on the wall and enable the deployment of well-known Ethernet technology even in industrial environments. The devices are designed for demanding operating conditions with frequent shocks and vibrations, have surge protection, are suitable for installation in outdoor cabinets with fluctuating operating temperatures (typically wireless, MAN ISP applications and telemetry).
