This is an 8-port 10/100Mbit fast Ethernet switch with 2 Gigabit TP/SFP interfaces. It allows you to power other devices such as IP cameras, VoIP phones and WiFi access points. The device has a fully permeable 5.6 Gbps fast internal backbone bus. Gigabit interfaces provide additional options for expandability, flexibility and network integration. The LCD display on the front panel informs about the current PoE utilization.
It allows you to connect and power Ethernet devices at a speed of 10Mb/s up to a distance of 250m on classic UTP cabling. 250m is a theoretical maximum depending on the quality of the cabling and connectors, in normal conditions the real distance is 150m. According to our tests, the real distance on a quality Cat 6 cable is 200 meters, on a Cat 5e cable 150 meters +- 10%.
