Ubiquiti IsoStation 5 AC
IsoStation 5AC is an outdoor unit with a 14 dBi symmetrical 45° horn antenna and a shielded housing for high-quality client connections in noisy urban environments. The unit allows for throughput of up to 450 Mbps.
The IsoStation 5AC has a 14 dBi symmetrical sector antenna with a 45° beam angle in both vertical and horizontal polarization. The horn antennas excel in their radiation characteristics with back and side lobe suppression, which means that there is no mutual interference between antennas on the mast.
The antenna is also removable, so the original 45° antenna can be easily replaced with a symmetrical 30° Horn antenna, an asymmetrical 60° Horn antenna or an asymmetrical 90° Horn antenna .
IsoStation 5AC is a 2nd generation airMAX device that has a dedicated radio for wireless access to the unit and the ability to configure it in the UNMS application for mobile devices . UNMS ( Android , iOS ) helps with the alignment of the connection and significantly speeds up its installation.
For high transfer speeds, the unit uses the 802.11ac standard and AirMAX (TDMA) technology to achieve low latencies .
The web administration is very simple and clear. You can set, for example:
- AP, client or WDS mode
- traffic shaping
- Quality of Service
- between WAN and LAN transparent bridge or routing, without NAT or with NAT
- the signal strength that a specific signaling LED should correspond to
- output power up to 25 dBm
In bridge and WDS mode, the device supports IPv6 transmissions transparently.
The package includes a Gbit PoE power adapter 24 V/0.5 A.

The airOS system is constantly being improved, so we recommend always using the latest version, which you can download from the Ubiquiti website in the Downloads section. At the same time, it is necessary to operate the device in accordance with General Authorization for the 5 GHz band, to use the DFS function and avoid using frequencies used by meteorological radars, i.e. 5630 and 5645 MHz.
