Ubiquiti NanoBeam 5 AC Gen2
NanoBeam (NBE-5AC-Gen2) is a complete second generation outdoor unit with 19 dBi MIMO 2x2 antennas for the 5 GHz band suitable as a client unit. NanoBeam supports the 802.11ac standard, thanks to which it achieves a throughput of 450+ Mbps.
NanoBeam 5AC-Gen2 is the second generation of airMAX AC devices that have a dedicated radio for wireless access to the unit and the ability to configure in the UNMS application for mobile devices . The UNMS application ( Android , iOS ) also helps with the alignment of the connection and significantly speeds up its installation.
The compact NanoBeam unit provides maximum performance in minimal dimensions while maintaining a low price. The antenna system consists of two 19 dBi antennas (MIMO) with linear horizontal and vertical polarization.
The NanoBeam 5AC-Gen2 has improved surge protection that protects the device against electrostatic discharge.
For high transfer speeds, the unit uses the 802.11ac standard and AirMAX (TDMA) technology to achieve low latencies .
Web administration is very simple and clear . You can set, for example:
- AP, client or WDS mode
- traffic shaping
- Quality of Service
- between WAN and LAN transparent bridge or routing, without NAT or with NAT
- the signal strength that a specific signaling LED should correspond to
- output power up to 25 dBm
NanoBeam AC Gen2 has two RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports . The second port can be used to power another device (requires a more powerful 24V/1A PoE injector ) that supports 24V PoE.
The package includes a 24 V/0.5 A Gbit PoE power injector .
