Xtend Solarmi MC4-TOOL

This special installation tool is used for easy and perfect assembly of MC4 connectors on solar cables.

Assembly procedure:

1. Insert the stripped part of the cable wire into the connector contact and crimp. Then insert the contact with the cable into the connector. Gently press the cable so that the contact fits into the correct position in the connector.

2. Screw in the cable gland and tighten with this tool. The recommended torque is 2.2Nm.

3. Connect both connectors together. Check that the locking latches are properly seated by pulling on the connectors.

4. Press the locking latches on the connector by hand, or use this tool to separate the connectors again.
