The DuoRacer series MPPT controller is designed to charge two batteries, suitable for caravans, boats, etc. Panel voltage up to 100 V and maximum charging current 30 A , battery 12/24 V , PV max. 390/780 Wp .

The DuoRacer MPPT charge controller is designed to charge two batteries – onboard and starter (shown below as BATT1 and BATT2) in a solar system. This controller supports several types of main batteries (BATT1), including sealed, gel, flooded, LiFePO4 and Li-NiCoMn batteries, which are suitable for RVs, caravans, boats, etc. The device automatically detects the system voltage of the starter battery (BATT2) and charges the battery when the conditions are met.
The controller works as an inverter, meaning that it can process a higher input voltage and lower current into a lower voltage (increase the current) with high efficiency. So we can use practically any solar panel.
The DuoRacer solar controller is equipped with the latest MPPT (Maximum PowerPoint Tracking) technology - maximum power point tracking with a sophisticated tracking algorithm, where the solar module operates at the ideal voltage that the solar module can produce at the highest available power. Compared to a classic PWM controller, MPPT technology increases charging efficiency by approximately 30%.
The maximum charging power to the battery of this model is 30 A, which corresponds to a panel power of 390 Wp if you have a 12 V battery, or 780 Wp if you have a 24 V battery. If the panel produces a higher power, the controller will only limit it to its nominal max. power. The power of the PV panels must not be higher than 1.5 times the nominal power of the controller – i.e. 580 Wp or 1170 Wp!
You can connect solar panels in series, but their open circuit output voltage, referred to as V oc , must never exceed the open circuit voltage value V oc of 100 V - exceeding this value will permanently damage the controller (it must be taken into account that the voltage of the solar panel increases with decreasing ambient temperature and the V oc value specified in the solar panel parameters is at 25 °C). Therefore, we do not recommend that the value of the specified V oc exceed 90 V)

- Advanced MPPT control algorithm to minimize speed loss and MPP time loss.
- Wider MPP operating voltage range to improve PV module utilization.
- Automatic charging control and charging current limitation function (BATT1).
- High quality and low failure rate of ST, TI and Infineon components to ensure product life.
- Digital circuit control of adaptive three-stage charging mode to increase BATT1 life.
- BATT1 type can be set using LED/LCD.
- If there is no charging for a long time and the PV array has low voltage (FV<5V), the controller will enter low power mode.
- 100% charge and discharge within the operating temperature range.
- AES control signal for car refrigerator.
- Standard Modbus protocol and RS485 communication port (5 V, 200 mA).

The MT11 remote display (optional, not included) supplied can display various operating data and system fault information. The information can be displayed on a backlit LCD screen, the buttons are easy to operate and the numeric display is easy to read.
