Industrial Ethernet switches are designed for demanding operating conditions with a wide range of operating temperatures, unstable power supply and frequent shocks. Versions of the switches of the series with an extended temperature range and waterproof design with the possibility of application in vehicles according to EN50155 .
They are easily installed on a standard DIN rail or directly on the wall and enable the deployment of well-known Ethernet technology in industrial environments. They are also suitable for installations in outdoor cabinets with large fluctuations in operating temperatures (typically wireless and MAN ISP applications). Their great advantage is an extended mean time between failures (MTBF)!
The IGS-5227 series switches are very robust, waterproof with an IP67 rating and are designed in an aluminum housing. The Ethernet ports use special industrial waterproof M12 connectors with ESD protection against electrostatic discharge.
