Gigabit managed switch operating at layers 2 and 3 of the OSI model. It has PoE injectors according to IEEE 802.3at, is equipped with advanced features for use in wide area networks and backbone connections. Static routing, powerful tools for QoS traffic management and security allow ISPs and network administrators to control and effectively manage network data, part of which the switch will be equipped, for example, as a central element.
Intelligent switches for industrial Ethernet are designed for harsh operating conditions with wide operating temperature ranges, unstable power supply, and frequent shocks. They also provide excellent multi-connectivity capabilities to achieve robust system connectivity with very low recovery times.
It is equipped with a redundancy method using the Spanning Tree protocol (whose recovery time is in the order of seconds and fractions of seconds). L3 routing is supported for up to 32 rules and 8 VLAN interfaces.
IGS series switches enable the deployment of well-known Ethernet technology in industrial environments. They are also suitable for installations in outdoor cabinets with large fluctuations in operating temperatures (typically wireless and MAN ISP applications).
