The L2-switch is an effective solution for applications using PoE technology. The device is fully compatible with the IEEE 802.3at/af standard, it has 24 10/100Mb/s Fast Ethernet ports with integrated PoE injectors, 2 Gigabit 1000Base-T ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s) and two 1000Base-X SFP (Small Factor Pluggable) ports for the installation of SFP MiniGbic modules. All ports are equipped with auto-detection MDI/MDI-X and Auto-Negotiation functions.
Device management is done via web or SNMP management. Other network features include port-based / IEEE 802.1Q / MTU VLAN, port mirroring, port trunk, QoS, bandwidth control, broadcast storm control, MAC address / TCP & UDP filter and IGMP Snooping v1/v2/v3.
Switches from the SmartEthernet Switch series are designed for creating computer networks with Gigabit backbone and Gigabit connection to servers and key computing systems. The internal computing system has full throughput and allows packets to be transmitted without additional delay. Web management allows setting the port operation mode, port association (trunking), creating VLAN networks and port monitoring (mirroring). Up to 30 VLAN overlay networks can be set. 2 duplicate connections between switches can be created.
PoE ports can be controlled from the Web UI, the interface includes a monitoring function for connected powered devices.
