10Gigabit managed switch operating at OSI layer 3. It is equipped with advanced features for use in wide area networks and backbone connections. Static routing, powerful tools for QoS traffic management and security allow ISPs and network administrators to control and effectively manage network data, part of which the switch will be equipped, for example, as a central element.
The switch is equipped with 24x 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet ports, 4x SFP ports shared with 100/1000 Mbps metallic RJ-45 ports and 4x 10G SFP+ slots, the metallic ports provide Power over Ethernet (PoE) with a power of 30 W/port and a total possible load of up to 370 W.

The stacking function allows you to expand the capacity of central switches, including planning their overall throughput; up to 24 switches can be connected into one manageable unit (IP stacking).

Operationally, the device is equipped with a powerful architecture with an internal bus throughput of up to 128 Gbps. Functionally, it has, for example, "Port link aggregation", "Q-in-Q VLAN", "private VLAN", "Rapid Spanning Tree protocol", "Layer 2 to Layer 4 QoS", "bandwidth control", "IGMP Snooping". It is possible to create and manage up to 256 VLAN groups. For "trunk" connections, it is possible to create up to 12 groups of 8 ports for each group. The switch has traffic filtering based on IP addresses and other TCP/IP parameters.

The device is managed using a web browser or via an SNMP utility with support for the SNMP v2c and encrypted SNMP v3 protocols; simultaneous management using IPv4 and IPv6 protocols in the form of DualStack is supported.

IP stacking helps network administrators easily configure up to 24 switches in the same series using a single IP address instead of connecting and configuring each unit individually. IP Stacking technology combines a series of SGS-6341 switches to enable centralized management through a single unit regardless of physical location or switch type, as long as they are connected to the same local area network.

The SGS-6341 series can be connected as a ring ( HW stacking ) to provide redundancy and guarantee data integrity even in the event of a single switch failure in the stack. Switches can even be hot-swappable without disrupting the network, greatly simplifying the task of upgrading the LAN to meet increasing bandwidth demands.
