OlifeEnergy SolarModule SLBPW
Expansion module for common AC charging stations OlifeEnergy . It allows the station to communicate with selected inverters for home photovoltaic power plants (PVP). Therefore, it is not necessary to purchase an Olife Energy SmartMeter to protect the main circuit breaker from tripping, thanks to the SolarModule it is possible to use the solar power plant's smartmeter (selected models only). The module can communicate with the inverter over a local area network ( LAN ), wirelessly using Wi-Fi , or via the Ethernet protocol ModBus TCP . In addition, it allows remote management and setting of the station over a local area network. Cooperation with the inverter allows the station to optimize electric vehicle charging to achieve the highest possible charging speed using maximum solar energy efficiency. It works in two modes - circuit breaker protection (maximum charging speed) and solar charging (maximum efficiency).
Circuit breaker protection:
The vehicle is charged at the maximum possible speed. Dynamic power management prevents the main circuit breaker from tripping (consumption is measured at the inverter smart meter installation location). In case of an increase in the object's consumption, charging slows down, in case of an increase in the supply from the PV plant, charging speeds up and vice versa. High object consumption suspends charging.
Solar charging:
Charging is based on the battery storage state of charge (SoC), power and current inverter utilization. Only the energy produced by the PV system is used, which results in maximum operating efficiency and the highest possible savings. A minimum battery reserve can be set at which charging stops so that sufficient energy is available for the household.
To install the module in OlifeEnergy AC and DoubleBox, the SDBPX expansion kit is required. This module cannot be used with stations in the CLOUD variant. The module is not needed for PLUS variants, which already integrate this module.
