Description

PLANET MC-1610MR

16-slot 19" media converter chassis, Web/RS-232 management. Connection and power redundancy, efficient ventilation. Hot swap. LLR. For FST-8xx, GST-7xx, GST-8xx, XST-7xx converters.



Highly efficient remotely managed device for installing optical media converters intended for FTTx networks, ISP MAN/LAN, medium and small businesses or hotels or public administrations. FST-8 / GST-7 / GST-8 / XST-7 series converters can be installed for building FTTH (Fiber to the Home), FTTB (Fiber to the Building), FTTC (Fiber to the Curb). The converter bays are of the "hot-swap" type for the possibility of replacing the converter during operation without affecting the outage on other converters installed in the chassis.

Device management is performed via a web interface or via the RS-232 console port; individual converters can be controlled and their statistical data monitored.



The MR series supports dual power supply for maximum uptime. The MC-1610MR has one internal 230V AC power supply, while the MC-1610MR48 has one 48V DC power supply. This standard installation can be expanded with an additional 230V AC or 48V DC backup power supply.

The chassis is equipped with sensors for sensing internal temperature and monitoring the status of fans, their status can be found in the device management environment.

  • implements line redundancy, automatic backup of one converter by another in case of failure

  • electrically separated converter boxes
  • operating temperature: 0 to 50 °C
  • FCC Class A, CE
