Description

PLANET XST-705A

Smart Ethernet converter RJ-45 10G/5G/2.5G/1G/100 Base-T to 10G Base-X optics with SPF+ (SR/LR) slot. The deployment distance can be extended from 300 m (multimode) to 60 km (single-mode).

Support IEEE 802.3u/802.3ab/802.3bz/802.3ae, auto-negotiation and 100 Mbps half/full duplex + 1/2.5/5/10 Gbps full duplex, IEEE 802.3x, Plug and Play installation, DC 5 V power supply, ESD protection up to 6 kV DC, mounting in a 19" chassis or directly on the wall.



Designed for use in network environments where the deployment of 10Gigabit Ethernet is required due to very high bandwidth, such as in cloud computing centers, enterprise backbone networks, campus networks, and operator infrastructure.

This XST-705A converter can be used as a standalone unit or as a plug-in module in a 19" PLANET Managed Media Converter Chassis (MC-1610MR or MC-1610MR48).
