AXAGON active extension/repeater USB2.0 / ADR-207 / 7.5m

Active USB 2.0 extension cable for connecting remote USB devices over a significantly greater distance than a conventional passive cable allows.

The 7.5-meter AXAGON ADR-207 active USB repeater cable amplifies the through signal and enables reliable connection of peripheral devices such as mice, keyboards, webcams, printers, scanners or plotters. You can further extend the range by connecting several repeater cables in series.

A great advantage of this model is the integrated connector for additional power supply , which solves possible problems with insufficient power supply for devices with higher consumption at longer distances. The exceptionally compact body of the repeater cable allows for trouble-free use in electrical mounting rails or cable systems.

Flexible power options
In most cases, power supply via the USB bus (bus-power mode 5 V – 500 mA) is sufficient. For devices with higher power consumption, additional external power supply is available using the included USB (M) / 3.5mm jack power cable, 1.2 m long. When powering the repeater cable with a power adapter, an external 2.5" disk can also be connected without the need for its own power supply.

Universal compatibility
The cable is fully compatible with USB 2.0 and backward compatible with USB 1.1. A regular passive USB cable can also be used behind an active USB cable. It supports all common operating systems including Windows, macOS, Linux, Chrome OS and Android without the need to install additional drivers.
