Save on the number of fibers used and use WDM technology, which enables bidirectional data transmission over a single optical fiber. The module allows communication at speeds up to 1.25 Gbps over distances up to 10 km .

The module is designed to be inserted into the SFP slot of a switch or MC220L media converter and is powered directly from these devices. On the other side of the connection, it is necessary to use the TL-SM321A module . The MiniGBIC is equipped with a holder for easy ejection from the SFP slot.
