Gigabit miniGBIC (SFP) 1000Base-T module, converts SFP port to standard 1000Mbps RJ-45 metallic port (or 10/100Mbps).

Cisco, Dell, Planet compatible. Equivalent to Cisco GLC-T

MiniGBIC is designed for gigabit networks, so both the SFP slot in the switch and the counterpart must be at a speed of 1Gbit. If the switch supports serial gigabit media-independent interface (SGMII), then miniGBIC can also work at a speed of 100Mbit. Such switches include some Juniper models and most Cisco switches. In Planet, Dahua, Huawei, Dlink, Zyxel, H3C and others, GBIC only works at 1Gbit
