This 12 V PWM solar controller is designed for small island solar systems . It is a cheap way to backup power. The controller is used to control the flow of energy from a solar panel or power supply to batteries and appliances. It works with a voltage of 12 V and currents up to 5 A. The advantage is a very simple and easy installation, reliable operation and a USB power port (5 V, max. 1.2 A) .
