Industrial "Power over Ethernet Injector" IEEE 802.3bt with a maximum load capacity of 180 W for powering devices over Ethernet. Designed for use with PTZ cameras, touch monitors, VoIP devices, POS (point of sale), kiosks, PoE lighting or Wi-Fi access points.
The injector has an increased load capacity compared to the IEEE 802.3at standard, making it ideal for applications in camera systems and VoIP telephone networks. PoE power supply can also be implemented on 5 gigabit Ethernet, supporting 802.3/802.3u/802.3ab/802.3bz (2.5G/5GBase-T). The injector is backward compatible with the previous generation IEEE 802.3at .
IEEE 802.3bt devices self-detect whether they are connected and are capable of receiving power from Ethernet. Devices powered in this way are also protected against damage due to incorrect connections.
