Ubiquiti NanoStation 5 AC
The popular NanoStation AC outdoor unit in a new design and with 802.11ac support, thanks to which it achieves a throughput of 450+ Mbps. Ideal for client units or Point-to-Point connections.
The NanoStation AC is an outdoor unit with integrated 16dBi (5GHz) with horizontal and vertical polarization (MIMO2x2). For high data rates, the unit uses 256QAM modulation and TDMA AirMAX protocol to achieve low latency .
NanoStation AC is a second generation airMAX AC device that supports wireless access to the unit and the ability to set up in the UNMS application for mobile devices . The UNMS application ( Android , iOS ) also helps with the alignment of the connection and significantly speeds up its installation.
The airOS 8 web interface is intuitive and displays constellation diagrams and real-time SNR. The unit supports AP/client modes in Point-to-MultiPoint or Point-to-Point networks, and router or bridge modes.
NanoStation AC, like every device in the airMAX AC series, has a dedicated radio for continuous spectral analysis of the 5 GHz band.
Another advantage is the support of PoE Out on the second Ethernet port for direct powering of another device, for example the UniFi Video G3 camera. The output voltage of PoE Out corresponds to the selected PoE power supply at the input. This feature can also be disabled in software.
NanoStation AC has improved surge protection that protects the device against electrostatic discharge.
NanoStation AC supports 24V passive PoE power supply and 802.3af alternate A active PoE power supply.
The package includes a 24V/0.5A Gbit PoE power injector .
