Ubiquiti PowerBeam 5 AC Gen 2
PowerBeam (PBE-5AC-Gen2) is a complete 2nd generation outdoor unit with 25 dBi MIMO 2x2 antennas for the 5 GHz band. It is suitable as a client unit or for PtP connections. The unit supports the 802.11ac standard and a throughput of 450+ Mbps .
PowerBeam 5AC-Gen2 is a 2nd generation airMAX AC device that has a dedicated radio for wireless access to the unit and the ability to configure it in the UNMS application for mobile devices . The UNMS application ( Android , iOS ) also helps with the alignment of the connection and significantly speeds up its installation.
The antenna system consists of two antennas (MIMO) with horizontal and vertical polarization. PowerBeam uses patented InnerFeed technology for quick installation of the radiator. PowerBeam 5AC-Gen2 has newly improved surge protection and a robust bracket with a handle for easy installation .
For high transfer speeds, the unit uses the 802.11ac standard and AirMAX (TDMA) technology to achieve low latencies .
The web administration is very simple and clear. You can set, for example:
- AP, client or WDS mode
- traffic shaping
- Quality of Service
- between WAN and LAN transparent bridge or routing, without NAT or with NAT
- the signal strength that a specific signaling LED should correspond to
- output power up to 25 dBm
In bridge and WDS mode, the device supports IPv6 transmissions transparently.
The package includes a Gbit PoE power injector 24 V (0.5 A) .
