Argodiode battery isolator

Argon diode battery separators allow two or more batteries to be charged simultaneously from one alternator, without the batteries being connected to each other . For example, discharging the main or auxiliary battery will not cause the starter battery to be discharged. The separators have a low voltage drop due to the use of high-quality Schottky diodes. At low current, the voltage drop is approximately 0.3 V and at nominal current approximately 0.45 V.

All models are equipped with a compensation diode that can slightly increase the alternator output voltage. This compensates for the voltage drop across the diodes in the insulator.
