Coaxial managed switch with 8 ports as a solution for extending Ethernet segments including increasing the PoE (power over Ethernet) power supply range from 100m to 400m over coaxial cable including maintaining power supply for IEEE 802.3at devices at the end of the line or up to 1200m without PoE power supply. Slave client extenders (LRP-101CE) can be daisy-chained/connected up to 4 units on one injector port.
The application of LRE (Long Reach Ethernet) technology is ideal for using IP cameras or wireless access points at longer connection distances. Technically, it is an integrated extension of the ability to install powered devices in locations further away from the central switch or rack.
