Gigabit managed switch for installation in more demanding local networks, has a wide range of functions to ensure secure network operation by eliminating possible attacks on lower layers of the OSI model and possible authentication of end devices. End user connections can be secured with ACL/MAC rules or possible authorization to a RADIUS/TACACS+ server.
Secure management is ensured by encrypted web management or SNMP v3 protocol via IPv4 or, more recently, IPv6 protocol.
