PLANET LRE-101
Ethernet extender to extend an Ethernet segment from 100 m to a distance of up to 800 m over UTP (up to 1200 m for RJ-11 at 11/6 Mbps). Designed primarily for long-distance Ethernet (LRE), providing a quick replacement and seamless solution for the transition from an existing analog system to a fully digital system.

The LRE-101 offers 2 operating modes, "Slave" on the client side and "Master" on the central office side, allowing easy and flexible use in any network. "Slave" or "Master" mode can be set using the built-in DIP switch. For point-to-point connection, one LRE-101 converter in "Slave" mode and the other in "Master" mode must be set as a pair of converters to realize the connection. This allows the administrator to effectively manage the network over UTP cable.
The LRE-101 Long Reach Ethernet Extender can be used as a stand-alone unit or as a plug-in module into a PLANET media converter chassis (MC-700 and MC-1500 chassis series). The media chassis can help provide DC power to the LRE-101. It can be mounted on a DIN rail or wall for efficient use of cabinet space.
