Backup lead-acid battery (12 V, capacity 15 Ah) in VRLA (AGM) design.
It is a design in which the internal pressure is regulated using valves (VRLA - Valve Regulated Lead Acid).

AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) technology:
Although the battery contains electrolyte in a liquid state, it is "soaked" in fiberglass microfibers , or so-called glass wool, and is thus firmly bound in the interior of the battery cells ( its leakage is practically eliminated ).
CSB EVX and EVH series AGM traction batteries. These are sealed lead-acid batteries in VRLA design. This is a design in which the internal pressure is regulated by valves (VRLA - valve regulated lead acid = valve-controlled lead-acid batteries). AGM technology (absorbed glass mat = electrolyte absorbed in glass fleece), the battery does not contain electrolyte in a liquid state, the electrolyte is absorbed in glass fleece, and thus it is firmly bound in the interior of the battery cells, which eliminates its leakage. The extra strong cell grid ensures high cyclic resistance of the battery. CSB EVX and EVH series batteries can also be used for "stand by" applications, when the batteries are under constant power supply and serve as a backup source in the event of a power outage. Especially where outages are frequent and the batteries are deeply discharged.
Lifespan: approximately 700 cycles / 50% DoD
CSB AGM batteries EVX and EVH series, optimal service life is given in cycles at a temperature of +20 °C, the number of discharge cycles with regular discharge to 50% DoD (Depth of Discharge = depth of discharge, 50% of energy is removed from the battery) is approximately 700 cycles.
