The battery has a long cycle life (extra strong cell grids), maximum reliability and safety in operation. These are sealed lead-acid batteries in VRLA design. Hybrid GEL technology = the electrolyte is reinforced in a hybrid gel (combination with AGM), and is thus firmly bound in the interior of the cells, which prevents its leakage. The battery is equipped with a display that is activated for 30 seconds by pressing a button and shows you the current battery voltage and approximate information about the residual capacity. The system also has functions that warn of deep discharge of the battery and the need to recharge it. You will also be warned of an abnormally high battery temperature or high charging voltage. By respecting the system's control functions, you can significantly contribute to achieving optimal battery life. For the simplest way to use energy, four output ports are built directly into the battery lid: 1x USB (2A) and 3x universal ports S1 (1A), S2 (1A), S3 (5A). These output ports are disconnected by the built-in regulator in case of danger of deep discharge of the battery, so you don't have to worry about your battery being deeply discharged. The system is also equipped with an input port for simple connection of a solar panel (max. voltage 18 V and max. charging current 10 A) or a charger. If these values are respected, charging takes place correctly even without a regulating element. The battery regulates the voltage itself, which we verified during testing. After the battery is fully charged, the regulator limits the charging current to prevent damage from excessive charging. This makes it easy to ensure continuous charging of the battery and at the same time draw energy from it for your appliances. The battery includes reduction cables for both the input port and the output ports, which ensure very easy connection of the necessary devices. Each GOOWEI ENERGY battery of the OTD-DEEP CYCLE series contains ampoules with diluted electrolyte with a density of 1.05 - 1.10 g/ml, which are stored in the battery lid and serve to extend the battery life. During demanding operation (frequent and deep discharge), even maintenance-free batteries gradually lose electrolyte (distilled water partially evaporates and sulfur gradually settles in the grid plates of the cells = sulfation). The manufacturer uses this innovative method to increase the useful value of the battery. It is recommended to add this diluted electrolyte to all battery cells after approximately 100 cycles or after 18 months of operation, which will actually extend its life by approximately 15 to 30%. Adding diluted electrolyte is not necessary, it is just an added value that serves to extend the battery life. This one-time step does not affect the battery's maintenance-free nature. When topping up diluted electrolyte, it is necessary to follow the safety instructions, see the instructions for use. Ideal wherever a permanent power source is not available, e.g. in cottages and cottages, in caravans or motor homes, on ships and houseboats or for long camping trips.
