Industrial MODBUS gateway with RS-485/422 to TCP/IP protocol conversion. IP communication converter from 100Base-FX via SFP module to serial lines of RS-485 and RS-422 types. Serial communication type is selectable RTU/ASCII, master/slave.
Power supply 5 V DC/ max. 2 A. ESD protection up to 6 KV, operating temperature -10 to +60 °C. Mounting on DIN rail or wall.
Serial communication transmission over IP protocol is particularly used for data acquisition, control machines and control of camera systems . It also replaces the physical conversion of the serial protocol to another transmission medium. It practically extends the range of serial communication indefinitely.
