Victron BlueSmart IP22 charger 12 V/ 30 A BlueSmart IP22 is a professional battery charger with unrivaled efficiency, low consumption and built-in Bluetooth technology, allowing you to display information from your charger on a smartphone, tablet or computer. The Blue Smart IP22 charger can also be used to charge motor vehicle and marine batteries. Bluetooth You can set up, view the status or configure the charger via your smartphone. Using the VictronConnect application, which can be downloaded for free on Google Play or the App Store, you can control the charger's functions. The default voltage and current value is displayed on the screen. This application is not yet available for mobile phones with the Windows operating system. High efficiency With an efficiency of up to 93%, this charger generates up to four times less heat compared to the industry standard. Once the battery is fully charged, power consumption is reduced to 0.5 W (5-10 times less than the industry standard). Adaptive 6-stage charging algorithm (test - bulk - absorption - reconditioning - float - storage) The charger is equipped with a microprocessor controlled "adaptive" Battery management. The adaptive function automatically optimizes the charging process. Storage mode (less maintenance and aging when the battery is not in use) Storage mode - if the battery has not been discharged for 24 hours. In storage mode, the voltage is reduced to 2.2 V per cell (13.2 V for 12 V batteries) to minimize gassing and corrosion of the positive plate. Once a week, the voltage is increased to the absorption level to "equalize" the battery. This function prevents electrolyte stratification and sulfation. Charging Li-ion batteries Li-ion batteries are charged in the bulk - absorption - float algorithm. NIGHT and LOW mode When setting the night or LOW mode, the output current is reduced to max. 50% of the rated power and the charger is completely silent. NIGHT mode ends automatically after 8 hours and LOW mode can be ended manually. Overheating protection The output current is reduced if the temperature rises above +50°C to prevent damage to the charger.
