HDMI transmission over LAN , especially KVM extender - HDMI signal transmission simultaneously with USB mouse and keyboard transmission, a pair of devices (transmitter and receiver) , HDMI is transmitted compressed (up to 100 Mbps), broadcast in IPv4 UDP, unlimited range in terms of connection in LAN or Internet.
A pair of transmitter and receiver units that allow the transmission of HDMI video and USB over IP networks. Typically intended for KVM applications , i.e. remote control of computers. The advantage is that it has a practically unlimited range, the only condition is a LAN network. We therefore recommend it where the distance no longer allows the use of uncompressed HDMI transmissions over Cat5 cabling. The transmission is carried out using the IP protocol, video in UDP multicast, bidirectional USB communication in UDP unicast.
To enable the mouse and keyboard, a USB driver must be installed on the controlled computer. It is included for Windows platforms. For Linux, it is already included in modern kernels, it is a driver for CH341 USB/RS-232 (in kernels since 2009).
The capacity of the used transmission bandwidth was approximately 85 Mbps in our tests. The device is from the EHDMIC11xx model series and is therefore compatible with the EHDMIC11-R device. That is, you can use this EHDMIC11U-TR set as a source transmitter for many receivers without changing the KVM functionality in any way.
Note: The USB port cannot be used to transfer data from flash drives.
