LRE (Long Reach Ethernet) Ethernet converter to VDSL2 (Very-high-data-rate Digital Subscriber Line 2) Ethernet converter allows data to be transferred over a symmetrical pair of wires at speeds of up to 200 Mbit/s at 200 m or 30 Mbit/s at distances of up to 1.4 km, transmission speed depending on the condition and quality of the line used. The device is universal as a master (CO) / slave (CPE) unit, mode setting by switch. The unit supports VDSL2 operating modes according to transmission profiles "17a" and "30a", selection according to "band Plan997" and G.993.5 G.Vectoring & G.INP affecting symmetrical data transmission at higher speeds even on parallel lines.
With the help of an external splitter, voice service can be maintained on the telephone line without further wiring modifications. This allows the use of telephone cable lines originally intended for connections not only to subscribers but also between analog exchanges.
ISPs (internet service providers) are thus enabled to offer multimedia services, VOD (video on demand), VoIP (voice over IP), Video phone, IPTV, etc.
The modem can be successfully operated over O2's VDSL lines.
This product is not compatible with the PLANET VC-201A converter.

Settings for O2 VDSL connection:
- modem in CPE mode; additional DIP switches Transmission, Band, SNR according to line quality
- in the router on the WAN interface apply VLAN ID:848
- set PPPoE client over WAN, Login: O2/O2
- Also pay attention to the settings of your router, its firewall, access rights, UPnP, etc.
