This installation cable from the Solarix - Category 6 product line, labeled SXKD-6-FTP-PE, is an outdoor shielded cable with a polyethylene sheath, which is designed for more demanding installations, where a regular data cable with a PVC or LS0H sheath does not provide sufficient protection against environmental influences. The cable easily meets and even exceeds the requirements specified in the international standards ANSI/TIA/EIA 568, ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50173, including all the latest amendments for Category 6. Solarix - Category 6 cables are supplied in shielded and unshielded versions with different types of sheath - i.e. PVC, LS0H or UV stable PE. The conductors of these cables are made of high-quality copper wire with a size of AWG 23. The individual pairs are separated by a plastic cross.
