Solarix SXKL-5E-FTP-PVC-GY (meter)

Shielded FTP cable of the "licna" type intended for the production of connecting cables. Its flexibility is ensured by the fact that the individual conductors form a so-called strand, which is braided from seven thin copper wires with a diameter of 0.18 mm. The shielding is made of aluminum foil and the color of the PVC sheath is gray. The licna cable is not suitable for horizontal cabling due to its properties (especially greater attenuation).

The advantage of FTP cable over UTP is the shielding under the outer sheath (foil around all 4 pairs). It is therefore more resistant to static electricity and allows a conductive connection of the outdoor unit to a grounded switch or PC - better protection against surges.
