Synology DiskStation DS725+ is a compact network attached storage (NAS) powered by an AMD Ryzen R1600 dual-core processor with up to 3.1GHz turbo frequency. With pre-installed 4GB DDR4 ECC memory expandable up to 32GB, it offers reliable performance for data backup, file sharing, and multimedia streaming.

The NAS has two bays for 3.5" SATA HDD or 2.5" SATA SSD drives and two M.2 NVMe SSD slots for fast cache. Network connection is provided by 2.5GbE and 1GbE ports, which enable fast data transfer. Thanks to the possibility of expansion with the DX525 unit, the storage capacity can be increased to up to 7 drives.

Flexible storage options
DS725+ offers two hot-swappable 3.5" SATA HDD or 2.5" SATA SSD bays. In addition, it includes two M.2 2280 slots for NVMe SSDs, which can be used as fast cache to improve performance when working with frequently accessed data.

Reliable performance with ECC memory
Pre-installed 4GB DDR4 ECC SODIMM memory provides data error protection and increases system stability. The memory can be expanded up to 32GB (16GB x 2) for more demanding applications and a larger number of simultaneous users.

Efficient cooling and low noise
The system is equipped with a 92mm fan with three speed modes (high speed, cool and quiet) that can be adjusted according to your needs. With a noise level of just 17.9 dB(A), the DS725+ is ideal for quiet home environments or small offices.
