Cable tester DATACOM NS-468 LED

Tester for network cables terminated with RJ11, RJ12 and RJ45 connectors. It can determine whether the cable is broken, if some of the cores are shorted or determine the type of cable (shielded-unshielded, straight-through-crossover). It can also test cables already installed in walls using the removable part of the tester, which is simply connected to the other end of the cable.

This tester checks the contact between one part of the device and the other - i.e. it verifies whether the wire between the two contacts is connected. It also verifies the connection according to the T568 standard (corresponding pins at the ends of the cable). The tester does not measure electrical quantities and does not certify.
