The device comes with FREE SmartPSS Lite software. It is used for convenient management of IP (NVR/XVR/IP cameras) devices. The application allows automatic device search, live channel preview, recording of selected channels according to specified criteria and of course playback of recordings. Another application is DSS Express , which is also free. It offers more functions and client-server architecture. First, you install the server part and then the client application. The client can be installed on the same PC as the server, but also on another PC in the same network. DSS Express allows up to 10 connected clients for free. The more advanced DSS Pro is already licensed and offers many more analytical functions.
For mobile access, use the DMSS application; download and install from the application system databases (Google/Apple).
Most Dahua IP cameras are supported in Synology ( list here ) and Qnap ( list here ) NAS devices.
