Initial setup is very simple. Simply connect the socket to the power outlet, place it within range of your Wi-Fi network, and then pair it with the Tuya Smart app. Setup is done via your mobile phone or tablet on your local network, and you can then control the device from anywhere in the world.
For configuration and control, you need a mobile phone or tablet with Android or iOS operating system. However, there is also a button that can be used to control the socket locally .
The socket is waterproof and dustproof , including a PG cable gland. You can place it anywhere in the garden or greenhouse without worrying about a short circuit during rain or watering.
The switching is relay (single-pole), only the L wire is opened (the N wire is permanently connected). The package includes installation material for wall mounting . Cables are not included.
