Simply place the socket anywhere within the radio range of your Wi-Fi access point. You can create schedules for when it should turn on or off. A useful feature is its behavior after a power outage, when it can turn the device back on or leave it off. The socket stores the measured consumption in history, so you can check it at different time periods. All settings and measured values are synchronized with the Tuya Smart application , so internet connection failures have no effect on functionality. All settings are stored in the socket and, if necessary, are synchronized with Tuya Smart. After disconnecting the device from the power supply, it reconnects to Wi-Fi and synchronizes the settings.
Initial commissioning of the socket is very simple. Just plug it into an electrical outlet, place it within range of the Wi-Fi network and then pair it with the Tuya Smart application. Commissioning takes place via your mobile phone or tablet on the local network and you can then control it from anywhere in the world. For configuration and control, you need a mobile phone or tablet with the Android or iOS operating system. The control application is Tuya Smart .
