The smart Wi-Fi socket is designed to control electrical appliances up to a maximum load of 16 A remotely from anywhere via the internet. For example, you can remotely turn off the lights, turn on the boiler, control the coffee maker or washing machine, etc. Of course, you can set time schedules for turning on appliances. The practical power monitor then allows you to immediately see how much energy the appliance is currently using or how much energy it has consumed over time. The socket can be controlled via the free Smart Life application, by pressing the button on the top, or using the voice assistants Amazon Alexa and Google Home .

The socket can be paired with other products in the Nedis SmartLife family to create a smart home.
