Gigabit miniGBIC (SFP) module, duplex LC connector, single-mode. Range 160km (for fiber with attenuation up to 0.2dB/km - 1550nm). Also designed for CWDM systems, wavelength 1550nm. Performance margin at least 34dB. This wavelength between modules is often referred to as 1000Base-EZX. Other wavelengths on request. Support for most manufacturers (Cisco, Dell, Planet, ...)

Conversion Gigabit miniGBIC module in Small-Form-Pluggable (SFP) format. Standard 1000Base-LX, IEEE82.3z. Duplex LC connector, for single-mode fibers. CWDM modules allow multiple wavelengths to be transmitted over an optical fiber (or one pair of fibers). Each module operates with a different wavelength with a spacing of 20nm. Optical signal merging and splitting is performed on a passive optical splitter/combiner.

This module is identical to XL-MGB-ZX, or other modules declaring the 1000Base-ZX standard (1550nm, range over 50km).

Equivalent to Cisco GLC-ZX-SM

The module itself is installed in any switch with miniGBIC (SFP) ports.

Low fiber attenuation in the area around 1550nm (typically singlemode G.652d fiber 0.20dB/km) allows connections to be implemented at distances of 160-180km.

The range is not guaranteed! Only the transmission margin is guaranteed, i.e. the difference between the transmitting power and the receiving sensitivity of the receiver.
